Baba Yaga ou la véritable histoire des poupées russes

Booking Required

One story, two musicians, and the rich imagination of Russian folk legends. Yuuki Wong and Alexandra Luiceanu bring music and theatre together to tell the story of four young girls, each with a very particular talent, and their mother, living deep in the Russian countryside. Works by Bartók, Glinka, Liszt and Monti meet arrangements of traditional Russian songs, bringing passion, tenderness, humour and a touch of suspense to the story. Between laughter and tears, childhood and nostalgia, this poetic pas de deux pays tribute to folklore and the power of the imagination.
