Antigel Festival – 100 Keyboards by Asuna

MAH
Booking Required

Asuna Arashi assembles more than a hundred keyboards, synthesizers and found sound objects to build a towering sonic landscape. Working between dense drones, evolving textures and abrupt metallic resonances, the performer sculpts immersive layers that blur the boundary between instrument and environment. The piece unfolds as a listening ritual, alternating tension and luminous release, inviting close attention to microsonic detail. Presented within the frame of Festival Antigel, the work reframes live electronic performance as a collective interior voyage.

Directed by Bastien Blanchard, CANICULE is a first play that turns a scorching domestic scene into a comedic yet unsettling probe of consumerist happiness. Actors Nadim Ahmed, Estelle Benaïch, Danae Dario and Angelo Dell’Aquila shift between light banter and mounting unease as a repairman exposes fissures in a marriage. Cornélius Spaeter’s scenography, Marc Heinmendinger’s lighting and Ljubica Markovic’s costumes frame moments of heat, claustrophobia and ironic intimacy, touching on climate change and overconsumption with dry wit and emotional precision.
