Colombian-born Berlin-based choreographer and performer Luisa Fernanda Alfonso inhabits and vocalises the archetypal gestures of character dancers and Mexican mariachis in a sequential black-and-white performance. In collaboration with composer Peter Rubel, she treats sound material as a full creative partner, building and unpicking vocal and choreographic traditions. The piece blends dance, music and song with emblematic gestures and costumes from Latin American cultures to probe questions of tradition, identity, freedom and the act of creation.

Created by Davide Brancato and Noémie Griess, Almo BB imagines a theatre of excess where cabaret, performance, drag, music and intimate confession fuse into a dramatic variety show inspired by Pedro Almodóvar. Through a shifting gallery of characters — a nun, a cross-dressing singer, a widow — the piece probes mutable identities, devouring passions, solitude, family inheritances and gender injunctions. Drag operates as metamorphosis and revelation, letting bodies, voices and emotions exist in full complexity.

Directed by Marcial di Fonzo Bo, this graduation production by the promo O ensemble of La Manufacture draws on the bold, visceral texts of Rodrigo García. The staging favors raw, fragmented voices and physical immediacy, exploring power, intimacy and the breakdown of social facades. The students’ ensemble work foregrounds risk-taking and rigorous stagecraft, supported by the production context of La Manufacture and collaborative institutional partners.
