Filmer, c’est exister is a Geneva-based film festival dedicated to Palestinian cinema, using film as a space of expression, resistance and visibility. Returning from a major tour in Australia, Ensemble Contrechamps presents works by composer and writer Nardi Simpson, an Aboriginal artist whose meeting in Canberra proved decisive. Commissioned for a new piece that blends tradition and adventurous exploration, Simpson’s music dialogues with Jessie Cox’s latest creation, which also reflects an inquiry into origins. Performed by Contrechamps, the programme juxtaposes ancestral sonic gestures and contemporary techniques, offering a meditative and dynamic evening that explores memory, belonging and cultural transmission.
Voix de Fête brings a week of concerts and community music events in Geneva, presenting diverse genres and shared performances. It invites everyone—residents and visitors—to come together, enjoy live sets and collective music experiences, and support local and touring artists.
