La Bâtie celebrates its 50th edition with three weeks of dance, music, circus and theatre that bring our diverse community together. Open to everyone, the festival invites neighbours, artists and newcomers to share performances, conversations and communal experiences that strengthen local ties. This edition is shaped by new artistic director Stéphane Malfettes, with graphic collaboration from studio Pique-nique. FILMAR en América Latina is Switzerland’s leading festival dedicated to Latin American cinema and cultures. Founded in Geneva in 1999, it champions independent filmmaking through a programme of classics, new releases, and numerous Swiss premieres that explore the social, political and cultural realities of the continent. With a strong focus on minority voices — including Indigenous, Afro-descendant and LGBTQIA+ communities — the festival combines engaged cinema with discussions, filmmaker encounters, educational programmes for young audiences, and festive moments celebrating Latin American music and cuisine.
Founded in 2011, the Geneva International Jewish Film Festival (GIJFF) presents a diverse selection of international films highlighting Jewish life, history, and culture.
