Le poème du Rhône

Hadrien de Corneillan explores the industrial landscapes of the Rhône through painting, concrete prints and works on canvas. Developed during a residency with the Association pour le patrimoine industriel, his project traces the river from source to delta, reading ruins, concrete and shifting terrain as visual evidence of human intervention. The work reflects on memory, transformation and the fate of landscapes marked by industry, while drawing on the aesthetics of erosion and remnants.

Lilian Bourgeat creates hyperrealistic sculptures that magnify everyday objects into monumental forms. Meticulous attention to surface, material and colour transforms benches, rain boots and soda cans into seductive yet unsettling sculptures. By altering scale while preserving recognizable details, his pieces oscillate between functionality and absurdity, displacing the viewer and inviting fresh perceptions of ordinary gestures and urban routines. The work interrogates how familiar objects shape memory, use and the boundaries between the banal and the monumental.

Matières vivantes brings together the botanical paintings of Clarissa P. Valaeys and the sculptural works of Lisa Novel. Through pigments, earth and fibres, the two artists explore a relationship with nature that informs both form and material. Valaeys layers botanical motifs and translucent passages, sometimes using pigments made from plants and minerals, while Novel weaves fibres into textured, earthy volumes. Together their practices emphasise attentiveness to organic shapes, material presence and a quiet, sensory mode of looking.

The Acedia project by French photographer Louise Desnos offers a contemplative photographic exploration of slowness, fatigue and intimacy. Through sensitive, minimalist compositions and staged portraits, Desnos elevates inertia and non-events into a quiet poetics. The series examines idleness as resistance, a space for introspection and for reclaiming autonomy. Photographs emphasize material textures, soft light and the presence of bodies at rest, inviting viewers to reconsider cultural prejudices about productivity and rest.
