Curators Ghalas Charara and Rita Elhajj present the second part of a two‑part exhibition that shapes a liminal space between listening and gesture. Through acts of defunctionalization, duplication, displacement, fragmentation and sabotage, the participating artists generate potentials for action and reclaim rhythmic breaths, steps and voices. Works from the host collection sit alongside invited pieces to evoke survivance, mourning and resistance, where memory becomes an embrace enacted by bodies searching for—sometimes finding—ancestral gestures through repetition, dance and semantic shifts.
Opening: Thursday 17 September, 18:00
