La Bâtie Festival celebrates its 50th edition from 25 August to 13 September 2026! Over three weeks, theatre, dance, concerts, performances, circus and parties will take over venues across Geneva and the region. Step behind the curtain on a guided backstage tour that unveils the hidden machinery of theatre life. Wander through paint and costume workshops, peek into rehearsal studios and explore corners usually closed to the public. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll hear stories about the building’s history, creative processes and the hands that build each production. The visit finishes with a shared aperitif, a relaxed moment to swap impressions and savour the theatrical atmosphere.

2 – 6 September

Geneva Watch Days brings together independent watchmakers and established maisons to present contemporary horology as a field of craft and design. The exhibition assembles over 150 timepieces, including mechanical movements, artisanal finishing and experimental prototypes, ranging from handcrafted complications to concept pieces. Emphasizing materiality and mechanical ingenuity, the presentation explores the tension between tradition and innovation and how makers negotiate identity through movement, dial design and the aesthetics of measurement.
