Geneva Cup – Talents of Tomorrow

An international under-17 football tournament bringing together young players and local supporters for two days of competitive matches and shared community spirit. Families, friends and football fans are welcome to cheer on emerging talent, celebrate teamwork and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. Organized by Association SFAIR, the event invites volunteers to get involved and supports connections across the community. Everyone is encouraged to join in and support youth development through sport.

Join a friendly Jass tournament hosted by a local wrestling club, welcoming players and community members of all levels. Form teams of two to compete in relaxed, convivial rounds that celebrate social play and local tradition. Whether you’re experienced or new to Jass, come to meet neighbors, enjoy shared games, and strengthen community ties in an inclusive atmosphere. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

21 – 22 August

Zooloo Festival returns for an eclectic two-day celebration welcoming everyone. Across diverse stages the programme mixes folk, rock, reggae and sharp electronic sounds, alongside circus performances, a spicy pepper contest and surprise attractions. By day it keeps a playful fairground atmosphere; at dusk the mood shifts toward a quirky freak-show vibe. The event invites people of all ages to gather, share music and experiences, and celebrate community together.

Saturday 22 August, 09:30

Join the Jardin team for a friendly community garden party celebrating wellbeing, creativity and shared food. The morning offers wellbeing sessions such as yoga, introductory olfactotherapy and Thai massage, followed by a barbecue-style brunch. The afternoon brings a makers market, second-hand children’s clothing stalls, live music, the Botanic Circus exhibition by Alice Izzo, pop-up food and sweet treats. Workshops are open to everyone; children should be accompanied and some activities have age recommendations.

25 August – 13 September

La Bâtie celebrates its 50th edition with three weeks of dance, music, circus and theatre that bring our diverse community together. Open to everyone, the festival invites neighbours, artists and newcomers to share performances, conversations and communal experiences that strengthen local ties. This edition is shaped by new artistic director Stéphane Malfettes, with graphic collaboration from studio Pique-nique. Full programming will be announced later; updates are available on the festival website.
