Northern Voices

Three singers — Claire de Buren Massy, Taina Onnela and Hilde Stein — weave traditional songs from the Far North into intimate, harmonised arrangements. Performed in their original languages and lightly reimagined with contemporary touches, the programme balances humour, melancholy and nostalgia. Brief spoken introductions frame each piece, guiding listeners through the stories while allowing the trio’s close harmonies and sparse textures to unfold. Presented within the Les Quatre Saisons de La Musicale series, the performance favours warmth and attentive listening.
