Sabbathsong Klezmer Band

Booking Required

Guided by the motto ‘More than just klezmer’, Sabbathsong Klezmer Band weaves klezmer, Hasidic chants, Yiddish and Israeli songs, Armenian melodies, Arabic inflections, jazz improvisation and Romani touches into a vibrant, genre-defying sound. The ensemble—Tamás Masa (vocals, trumpet, recorder), Anita Masa (vocals), Mónika Bódi (violin, viola), Bálint Szabó (clarinet), Sándor Csányi (accordion, piano) and others—balances virtuosic solos and communal dance rhythms, creating an intimate yet celebratory atmosphere that feels both authentic and profoundly moving.
