The Arkhè quintet — Edouard Liechti, Nicolas Jéquier, Patrick Leyvraz, Arthur Guignard and Pascal Desarzens — reunites to perform Franz Schubert’s String Quintet, a monumental masterpiece of chamber music. Their seasoned ensemble playing highlights the work’s lyrical elegance, profound introspection and dramatic contrasts, bringing warmth, refined blend and emotional intensity to the score. Presented as a luminous tango concert, TANGO² traces a musical journey from Ernesto Nazareth to Astor Piazzolla, blending Argentine bandoneón-driven intensity with Brazilian rhythmic warmth. An ensemble of about thirty musicians weaves orchestral textures, intimate solos and rhythmic drive, while subtle dynamics and close interplay evoke smoky dance halls and sunlit plazas. Trio Joubran, formed by brothers Samir, Wissam and Adnan Joubran, presents Twenty Springs: a two-decade survey of their oeuvre for oud. Quim Roscas and Zeca Estacionâncio form a seasoned comic-musical duo whose 25-year collaboration blends comedy, live music and spontaneous improvisation. On stage they embody a duo of playful characters, shifting between sharp satire and tender moments, using song, instrumental interludes and audience exchange to build layered narratives. Elina Duni and Rob Luft began collaborating in 2017 and have since distilled their musical conversation into a pared-down duo project that returns to the intimacy of their first encounter.
