Notre regretté Alfred

Directed by Marie Beer, Notre regretté Alfred is a mordant theatre piece that laughs at death while probing what remains of us after we are gone. The play brings together performers from several generations — Marie Beer, Maurice Aufair, Marie Druc, Christian Gregori, Gabriel Izquierdo, Frank Semelet and Albert Pià Cornella on guitar — with Rinaldo Del Boca’s lighting shaping intimate and incisive scenes. Coproduced by Le Canard qui danse, the work blends dark humour and tenderness.

Bernard Héritier’s scenography and Jessy Ducatillon’s lighting shape moments of visual surprise, most poignantly a Van Gogh encounter that restores belief in the world. BBBBBBB, the Japanese duo of Saionji (voice and sound production) and Sawa (voice), unleashes a sonic upheaval where digital hardcore collides with noise, industrial textures, trap and other unruly sounds. US guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle brings an intense, abrasive electric-guitar solo, carving a raw and uncompromising path through distortion and physical energy. Bamba Triste and Fuxy Lady round out the evening with a record-spinning set specially conceived for this occasion, extending the night’s adventurous, unruly soundscape.

MIKI writes, films and sings with a sharp, candid voice, crafting a hybrid pop that balances nervous energy and intimate detail. Her performance mixes absurd vignettes and tender moments, delivered with an ironic distance that keeps listeners off‑balance. She stages songs like short films, letting onstage gestures and lo-fi visuals punctuate the music. Revealed at Voix de Fête 2025, MIKI’s show feels immediate and unvarnished, alternating between playful chaos and fragile honesty.

30 October – 14 November

Four performers embody testimonies from different generations in Sept, situated at the crossroads of dance and film. Between intimate confidences and tender tableaux, the piece examines how age shapes us and stages a delicate exploration of what growing older means, revealing a shared humanity. The staging shifts between projected images and live bodies, weaving visual and physical layers to create an experience that is both poetic and unsettling.

3 – 7 November

Created and performed by Elina Kulikova and Dima Efremov, TRILOGIE DE LA GUERRE interweaves three musical-performance pieces responding to exile, the war in Ukraine and repression in Russia. Kulikova’s chapters evoke classical and folk song, transforming lament into a ritualised, sensory mourning; Efremov’s contribution uses sound art and electro textures to shift perspective and map clandestine networks of resistance. Together the trilogy forms a compact dramaturgy of intimacy, unease and fragile hope, immersive and politically charged.
