Elodie Arnould: Bijou de famille

Elodie Arnould is back with a brand new show. With humor and tenderness, she explores everything that shapes us: the heritage we receive, the values we pass on, family, long-term relationships, positive parenting… or almost, and those little wounds we learn to transform into strengths.

P.S. Her partner doesn’t know about the jokes Elodie makes about him, so come quickly before they get censored.

Led by pianist and singer Dennis Watson, the Dr. Watson Band revisits blues and rock through soulful vocals and piano-driven arrangements. The quartet — Dennis Watson (piano, vocals), Alain Niederhauser (guitar, vocals), Luc Schuwey (bass) and Pascal Jean (drums) — blends originals from the album “Welcome to the World” with covers by Freddie King, Muddy Waters, the Allman Brothers and Jimi Hendrix. Sharing the bill, The Lawdy Mamas — four Geneva-based women — channel raw Southern blues and 1970s rock, delivering high-energy, road-worn guitar-driven performances.

Double Jeu is a sharp, playful improvisation show built around strategy, split-second choices and mutual misdirection. Each performer receives a secret mission and must weave it discreetly into the action, turning every scene into a live game of influence, bluff and comic escalation. The result is fast, unpredictable theatre where the ensemble’s timing, listening and inventiveness keep the audience guessing until the very last exchange.

29 – 30 October

Guihome returns with a finely observed one‑man show that traces the passage from childhood to adulthood through a gallery of new characters and a naturalistic staging. The performance blends candid humour, tenderness and sharp, observational monologue as it follows first moves, first marriage and a first funeral. The staging favours realism and intimate storytelling, creating a warm, reflective atmosphere sustained across nearly two hours.

Directed by Gilles Guénat and written by Roxane Gray, The Wall is a dance-theatre piece that immerses audiences in a musical and choreographic tapestry around the history of the Berlin Wall. Choreographies by Fabrice Martin, Sabine Gross-Collé, Gilles Guénat and Anthony Despras shape a fluid dialogue between a woman and a man, where the personal and the political intertwine. A company of around ten artists navigates intimate gestures and collective movements, evoking memory, rupture and resilient lyricism.

27 October – 15 November

Focus Jeune Création brings together a new generation of Romand artists over two weeks, presenting five bold and hybrid performances that blur theatre, performance and live art. The program explores emergent writing and stage practices— from plateau-based text to pieces rooted in the real—offering layered, often indisciplinary approaches that question formats and invent languages for a transforming world. Accompanying meetings and discussions extend the works and open insight into creative processes.

29 October – 1 November

Oscar M. Damianaki’s Sacré Saoulé gathers a collective of performers to examine mourning, anger and exhaustion through a charged, intimate choreography. The piece moves between bitterness and tenderness, exploring a grief born of ongoing oppression that resists closure. Performers Tejus Menon and Davia Spain cocreate a physical language informed by discreet eroticism. Lighting by Tiki and costumes by Arsen Aeby shape a tense, tactile atmosphere. Co-produced by Emergentia.
