Antônia Dias investigates snakes through painting, sculpture and installation, exploring their vivid colours, geometric patterns and segmented forms. By linking aesthetic sensibility, biological observation and symbolic narrative, her work stages a tension between eroticism and metamorphosis. The exhibition assembles tactile materials and painted surfaces to create a destabilising perceptual field where colour, texture and form converge. Viewers are invited to linger within layered visual sequences that blur figurative and fabulatory registers.

Photographer Florian Luthi’s Fantômes Météores is inspired by the 1954 wave of UFO sightings across France, especially along the Franco‑Swiss border. From one of these accounts he revisits childhood landscapes—mist‑shrouded forests, deserted villages and the Jura—and composes a photographic narrative where truth wavers and legends endure. The series uses long exposures, muted palettes and staged absence to probe memory, collective fear and the boundary between documentary and myth. A collaboration with Fondation Convergences.

28 May – 10 September

Crossings brings together Swiss artist Maria Ceppi and Japanese artist Tami Ichino in a poetic dialogue exploring memory, transformation, and the hidden resonance of everyday forms. Through sculpture, painting, and assemblage, the artists reinterpret familiar materials and natural elements into evocative compositions that move between abstraction and recognition. Blending intuition, symbolism, and material experimentation, the exhibition creates immersive spaces where personal narratives intersect with broader reflections on nature, coexistence, perception, and the shifting relationship between humanity and the world around us. Hosted by GOWEN Contemporary, Crossings invites viewers into a contemplative journey where objects, landscapes, and emotions continuously evolve across forms, meanings, and states of being.
