Choreographed by Lia Rodrigues and Simon Wehrli, this year’s Bachelor performance gathers emerging dancers from La Manufacture in a bold exploration of movement, ensemble and creation. The programme marks the tenth anniversary of the contemporary dance bachelor, foregrounding collective energy, rigorous technique and theatrical immediacy. The choreography alternates intimate duets and explosive group sequences, framed by inventive stagecraft and a kinetic score, offering a vivid portrait of youthful voices shaping contemporary dance today.

Operation Transat – Le Grand Village

Operation Transat’s Le Grand Village transforms public space into a nomadic, poetic microcosm. The itinerant theatre company sets up tents, caravans and open-air spaces where artists, residents and passers-by meet through a varied programme of short plays, object theatre, puppetry, circus, concerts, readings and workshops. Intimate and communal, the installation invites close encounters, spontaneous discoveries and participatory moments, offering playful, moving and theatrical experiences for audiences of all ages.

HENGE deliver a space-rock spectacle that blends rave energy and progressive-rock textures. Since arriving seven years ago the band has earned acclaim — two albums, extensive touring and a Best Live Act award — and their performances feel at once exuberant and slightly uncanny. Propulsive rhythms, swirling textures and playful theatricality create an immersive, joyous atmosphere that oscillates between subversion and warmth, broadcasting a message of hope that leaves audiences amused and exhilarated.

Directed by Louis Bonard, Les Voüéces follows two reclusive women, Rodogonde and Frénéjus, who live atop a high tower. Louis Bonard and Michèle Gurtner wrote and perform a piece in an enchanted pseudo‑medieval tongue where voice, embroidery and play weave a poetic fable. The performance probes silence, the passage of time, guilt and the unsettling presence of other voices — ghostly, culpable or absurd — with a blend of darkness and dark humour.

Returning for its twentieth edition, Les Aubes brings softness and poetry to Geneva mornings. At dawn, intimate musical encounters offer delicate soundscapes that stir the senses, favouring close listening and subtle atmospheres. The programme highlights a variety of acoustic and experimental projects, from solo performances to chamber ensembles, each designed to awaken the city with refined timbres and attentive pacing. A gentle celebration of morning listening and communal presence.

The Wheel of Fortune

Two unexpected deities arrive by bicycle, guided by a capricious GPS, carrying a very serious object: the Wheel of Fortune. They need the audience—especially children—to spin the wheel and together invent a story about a child to whom nothing seems to go right. Misfortunes pile up, luck sticks to the sneakers and solutions must be imagined. A participatory musical tale where chance and imagination shape a different story each time.

Hip-Hop Jam (DJ & Dance) sessions

An open hip-hop jam where DJs and dancers converge in an improvised celebration of street culture. In collaboration with Association Breakdance Genève, the session foregrounds rhythmic interplay, call-and-response exchanges and physical storytelling. Expect pulsing beats, spontaneous battles and moments of collective intensity as performers trade moves and musical cues. The atmosphere is raw and electric, alternating between intimate grooves and explosive bursts, inviting both participants and listeners into shared momentum.
