Birds on a Wire, the duo of Rosemary Standley and Dom La Nena, reimagines timeless songs with intimacy and lightness. Moving from Pink Floyd to Boby Lapointe and from American classics to traditional songs from around the world, their third album Nuées Ardentes returns to the core of their encounter: voice and cello. Their arrangements are at once refined and raw, spare yet rich, blending erudition and tenderness to blur borders and reveal new emotional textures.
An introspective monologue for multiple voices, La Table d’Amour is a poetic theatrical immersion inspired by a Tinos island tradition. Performed by Manon Krüttli and Jeanne De Mont, the piece follows Manon Krüttli’s journey between autobiography, fiction and dreamlike reverie. It probes questions of living together, reconciliation and the role of conviviality as an artistic gesture, creating an intimate, sensory staging that favors lyricism and shared presence.

Led by musicologist Mathilde Reichler and journalist Charles Sigel, this lecture-concert examines the singular sound world of Sofia Gubaidulina through commentary and live performance by internationally renowned Swiss musicians. The program alternates analytical introductions and concentrated chamber renditions, highlighting spiritual intensity, timbral experimentation and lyrical restraint. Performances emphasise quiet intensity and resonant textures, creating an intimate, contemplative atmosphere that balances scholarly insight with the immediacy of sound.

Zamakan is a trio led by Egyptian saz master Abdallah Abozekry, guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis and Indo‑Helvetic violinist Baiju Bhatt. Their oriental jazz blends original compositions with improvisation, weaving vigorous rhythms and drifting poetic reveries. The music foregrounds multicultural identities and adventurous interplay: Abozekry’s hypnotic saz, Ferrandis’s inventive guitar and Bhatt’s virtuosic violin create layered textures that move from intimate stillness to incandescent intensity. Their new album Dans le ventre de la nuit frames the project as an assertion of bold, global creativity.
