Directed by Pauline Ribat, Je viens de là stages Charles Juliet’s autobiographical writing in a sensitive, intimate performance. Adapted from Lambeaux, the piece traces Juliet’s journey toward language and self-reconciliation, exploring inner life, memory and the redemptive power of writing. Luce Mouchel and Nicolas Gonzales embody the text with restrained intensity, creating a contemplative atmosphere that privileges voice and presence. Presented in the context of a mental health week, the production offers a poetic encounter with hope and recovery.

The programme pairs vibrant ensembles and solo artists to explore cross-cultural rhythms, melodic improvisation and textured arrangements. Curated to alternate lively communal sets with quieter, introspective performances, the series invites attentive listening in green urban settings and celebrates shared musical encounters across diverse traditions.

The Geneva International String Academy presents an exceptional series of concerts celebrating the artistry of emerging musicians and internationally renowned performers through a rich programme of chamber music, recitals, and masterclasses. Chamamé is a celebration of Argentinian-Guaraní rhythms reworked with European polka, performed by Chamigos’ chamameceros on accordion and guitars. The evening invites swaying couple dances and warm acoustic textures, blending ancestral melodies with contemporary arrangements. After the set, the night continues with a screening of the film Conducta – Chala, a portrait of childhood on the island of Cuba, which echoes themes of memory and social bonds. The programme balances festive movement and cinematic reflection.

An intense live performance by a Cameroonian singer who fuses her Bantu roots with afrobeat, jazz and reggae to celebrate women’s liberation and cultural diversity. Her powerful voice and commanding stage presence weave ancestral melodies with contemporary grooves, creating a warm, rhythmic atmosphere where storytelling and improvisation meet. The set balances intimate moments and soaring ensemble passages, framed by vibrant arrangements and rhythmic textures. Food by Bright accompanies the evening.
