Imen Lahmar turns personal history and keen observation into a sharp, playful stand-up performance about ‘francité’ and the wider world. A former media consultant, she mines career change, travels and intimate anecdotes for material, moving between self-deprecating confession and pointed cultural critique. Her delivery mixes rapid-fire jokes and sly sincerity, creating an engaging, conversational atmosphere that feels both candid and crafted.

An intimate aerial encounter, Une rencontre suspendue brings together hair suspension, acrobatic play, guitar harmonies and a textured singing voice. Conceived by the collective Association VOILÀ VOILÀ, this short creation features aerial acrobat Lili Parson Piguet and musician Jeanne Pâris. The piece mixes fragile physicality and musical intimacy to trace a delicate complicity between movement and sound, where everyday materials become instruments of tension and tenderness. Presented as a compact, sensory performance within the festival context.
Choreographed by Léo Lérus, Gounouj in situ is an intimate, physical dance for four performers that evokes fragile, living landscapes. Rooted in gwoka rhythms and inspired by the creole concept of bousyè, the work blends traditional and contemporary vocabularies to explore vulnerability, transformation and resistance. Bodies shift between human and amphibious states across a sensory soundscape of bird song and marine breath, transforming the stage into a moving ecosystem and proposing a fragile possibility of new balance.
Choreographed and performed by Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira, Repertório N.3 closes their trilogy with a mischievous, incisive dance that uses irony and mockery as modes of resistance. Created after Bolsonaro’s 2022 defeat, this final chapter swaps the martial frontal energy of earlier pieces for playful, provocative gestures: naked, unmiked bodies and no music foreground look, pride and sly humor. Invoking social media codes and viral culture, the duo interrogates how queer and racialized bodies are seen, exposed and consumed.

Un conseil d’ami is a taut, intimate theatre piece that probes the fragile ties between friendship and trust. The piece invites concentration on gesture, voice and timing, offering a quietly intense experience of human connection and moral questioning.

Presented as part of the fiftieth edition of Festival de la Bâtie, this late-stage production by Robert Wilson draws its creative power from the polymorphic poetry of Fernando Pessoa. Like a magic mirror, Pessoa – Since I’ve Been Me illuminates the nuances of Wilson’s singular aesthetic: meticulous stagecraft, visionary fantasy and boundless imagination. Seven virtuosic performers, including Maria de Meideros, embody Pessoa and his heteronyms in a poetic, visually arresting mise en scène.
