Ensemble Temenos presents a program drawn from Arcangelo Corelli’s first four Opuses of Sonate a tre, tracing the emergence of the trio sonata and its two principal genres, da chiesa and da camera. The programme contrasts solemn, contrapuntal church movements with lively dance forms—allemande, courante, gigue—showing how harmonic clarity and expressive rhetoric shaped Baroque chamber music. Performed with period sensitivity, the ensemble favours architectural resonance and rhythmic drive, offering an intimate, luminous sound world.

Choreographed by Saša Asentić, Le Sacre du printemps is a reimagined Stravinsky landmark performed by the inclusive company Per.Art. Drawing on historical versions by the Ballets Russes, Maurice Béjart and Pina Bausch and enriched with the voices of disabled poets from Serbia, Iran, Ukraine and the United States, the seven dancers invert the original narrative. The staging transforms ritual into a manifesto of survival, blending physical rigor, collective solidarity and poetic testimony to renew the score as a cry for life.

8 – 9 September

Choreographed by Christos Papadopoulos, My Fierce Ignorant Step gathers ten bodies whose mounting breath becomes the show’s engine. The piece translates performers’ respiration into kinetic waves and layered soundscapes, dialoguing with the contemporary music of Mikis Theodorakis. Drawing on the choral pulse of ancient tragedy, the work collapses collective Hellenic memory into intimate reveries — the impulse of beginnings, the buoyancy of first encounters and the spontaneous spark of early laughter. The staging is physical, precise and visceral.

9 September – 9 June

Led by Edwin Sanz, Jazz Night Latina gathers musicians and enthusiasts around vibrant Latin rhythms. The programme explores salsa, cumbia, merengue and Latin jazz through tight grooves, lively improvisation and moments of communal exchange. Soloists take turns to push creative boundaries while the ensemble blends danceable beats with nuanced phrasing, creating a warm, festive atmosphere that highlights musical conversation and improvisational energy. Listeners are invited to share the experience.

8 – 10 September

An emblematic stand-up showcase celebrating the club’s ninth anniversary, presenting the best of Romand humour across three nights. Singer-songwriter Zora offers an intimate acoustic set that unfolds like a suspended reverie. Her warm voice and pared-down guitar trace delicate melodies, exploring longing and quiet joy through spare, lyrical songs. The performance favors close listening, with subtle dynamics and moments of hush that invite reflection. Sparse arrangements and natural resonance create a fragile, luminous atmosphere, transporting listeners into a contemplative evening of honest storytelling and soft, emotive soundscapes.
