L’Audace du papillon explores rebirth after crisis through a delicate blend of storytelling, theatre and movement. At 55, Denise’s life shifts and the piece follows her awakening — renewed desires, daring gestures and reclaimed vitality. In a spare, choreographic staging where every movement bears the text, the work honours those who rise, reinvent and choose to inhabit life with intensity.

Operation Transat’s Le Grand Village transforms public space into a nomadic, poetic microcosm. The itinerant theatre company sets up tents, caravans and open-air spaces where artists, residents and passers-by meet through a varied programme of short plays, object theatre, puppetry, circus, concerts, readings and workshops. Intimate and communal, the installation invites close encounters, spontaneous discoveries and participatory moments, offering playful, moving and theatrical experiences for audiences of all ages.
Directed by Louis Bonard, Les Voüéces follows two reclusive women, Rodogonde and Frénéjus, who live atop a high tower. Louis Bonard and Michèle Gurtner wrote and perform a piece in an enchanted pseudo‑medieval tongue where voice, embroidery and play weave a poetic fable. The performance probes silence, the passage of time, guilt and the unsettling presence of other voices — ghostly, culpable or absurd — with a blend of darkness and dark humour.

Geneva-born drummer and composer Arthur Hnatek, recipient of the Swiss Music Prize 2022, presents Adrift as an audiovisual performance created with Berlin-based visual artist 2ms. The work probes the boundaries between electronic music, improvisation and contemporary rhythmic research, pairing acoustic drumming with shimmering electronic textures. Projected imagery and responsive sound design unfold in layered, evolving dialogues that move from sparse, intimate moments to dense, rhythmic surges, shaping a cinematic, immersive atmosphere.

A summer series of open-air concerts in local parks offering festive, family-friendly world-music programmes on some nights and intimate jazz sessions on others. The programme pairs vibrant ensembles and solo artists to explore cross-cultural rhythms, melodic improvisation and textured arrangements. Curated to alternate lively communal sets with quieter, introspective performances, the series invites attentive listening in green urban settings and celebrates shared musical encounters across diverse traditions.
Two unexpected deities arrive by bicycle, guided by a capricious GPS, carrying a very serious object: the Wheel of Fortune. They need the audience—especially children—to spin the wheel and together invent a story about a child to whom nothing seems to go right. Misfortunes pile up, luck sticks to the sneakers and solutions must be imagined. A participatory musical tale where chance and imagination shape a different story each time.
