Theatre Festival: Build Your Puppet

Guided by puppeteers Cécile Chevalier and Franck Fedele of Tête-dans-le-sac marionnettes, this hands-on workshop introduces participants to puppet construction and the basics of manipulation. In a playful, practice-focused session, attendees will explore materials, simple mechanisms and performance gestures to bring a creation to life. Suitable for the general public from age nine; children must be accompanied by an adult. Learning outcomes include construction techniques and movement fundamentals.

Elena Cogato Lanza, full professor at the Laboratory of Urbanism, École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), draws on architectural and urban research to examine the urgent questions raised by energy, environmental, health and social transition.
