Led by pianist Cédric Pescia, students and faculty from the Haute école de musique de Genève transform the piano into a full orchestra through daring transcriptions. Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Daphnis et Chloé are reimagined for solo, duo, four hands and two pianos, revealing visceral colours and orchestral textures. The project blends intense ensemble playing with pedagogy, where attentive listening, shared gesture and physical immediacy create an immersive, passionate musical experience.

Under the direction of Leonardo García‑Alarcón, Roma is a large-scale oratorio that revisits the foundational gesture of García‑Alarcón and Cappella Mediterranea. The programme journeys through Roman polyphony, alternating masterpieces and rarities by Luigi Rossi, Alessandro Scarlatti, Gregorio Allegri and Giovanni Giorgi. The Constellation sound design transforms the performance space to unfold Allegri’s Miserere in intense chiaroscuro. Solo voices and the Namur Chamber Choir converse with Cappella Mediterranea, creating a luminous, immersive baroque experience.

Directed by Jérôme Bel, this collectively created theatre piece is written and performed by children aged 8 to 14. The work unfolds through improvisation, playful imagination and a celebration of creative freedom, inviting an immediate, joyful stage presence. The ensemble’s spontaneous scenes and open-ended dramaturgy emphasize collaboration and risk, offering spectators an intimate encounter with youthful authorship and theatrical experiment.
