Participants explore circle songs, cantos de trabajo, body percussion and diverse dance forms—sabar and flamenco—through practical sessions led by artists and pedagogues including Marine Pelletrau-Duris, Rebecca Roger Cruz, Roberto Castillo, Khady Sarr, Mbar Ndiaye and Felipe Clivio. Frank Martin’s Concerto for Seven Wind Instruments offers lucid, finely balanced polyphony where instrumental lines converse with clarity. Ravel’s writing turns more sensual in Le Tombeau de Couperin before the virtuosic brilliance of Tzigane closes the programme in a whirlwind of raw energy.
