“Métamorphose.” The exhibition aims to bring together artists and artworks inspired by the theme of spring in all its forms and interpretations. Each artistic contribution brings a distinct voice to this shared reflection on transformation and renewal.
An exhibition presents around sixty works from the Plan-les-Ouates Art Fund, featuring paintings, sculptures, works on paper and installations. Artists such as Ruth Baettig, Carine Bovey, Sarah Carp, Georges Dessouslavy and Maya Rochat explore repetition, materiality and form through varied techniques: collage, printmaking, ceramics, video and mixed media. The selection stages dialogues between generational perspectives and examines how multiples, process and everyday objects shape contemporary artistic practice.
German artist Gerhard Hotter (born 1954) presents a survey of works that unfolds across five decades, exploring play as a mode of learning and experimentation. Early paintings from the 1980s evoke inner labyrinths populated by chess pieces, playing cards and miniature toys; later works evolve into modular constructions inspired by Bauhaus toys, privileging pure form, volume, colour and combinable structures. Hotter employs Langford sequences as compositional tools, situating his practice within concrete art where order becomes an active, playful principle. Recent pieces expand this enquiry through relief, light and spatial interventions.

Ernest Pignon-Ernest, born in 1942 in Nice, is considered one of the pioneers of street art. Through life-sized charcoal drawings pasted directly onto city walls, he creates powerful encounters between his human figures and the urban spaces they inhabit. Deeply engaged with social and political issues, his work reflects historical and contemporary struggles while maintaining a strong poetic and human presence.

Survey of Carlos Schwabe and Swiss symbolists reveals the poetic intensity of fin-de-siècle graphic art.
Drawings, prints and rare books on paper articulate allegory, mysticism and the decorative register of the Rose+Croix aesthetic. The works reflect a Parisian community of Swiss artists in the 1890s, receptive to innovations by Puvis de Chavannes and Rodin. Selected sheets and printed material from museum reserves highlight exchanges between personal myth-making and broader symbolist visual language.
An immersive exhibition exploring neutrinos, the nearly undetectable particles that traverse Earth by the billions each second. Through large-scale photographic works, scientific models, archival imagery and interactive displays, the show traces the experimental ingenuity behind detectors such as Super Kamiokande. It juxtaposes cutting‑edge instrumentation with poetic reflections on scale, invisibility and the cosmos, inviting visitors to consider how technological precision reveals fundamental processes that shape our understanding of matter and the universe.
The exhibition invites you on a journey through anatomical models, casts, waxworks, and illustrated antique books. Modern tools like microscopy, medical imaging, and 3D printing uncover the inner workings of organs, currently utilized by medical students at the University of Geneva.
