Sessions introduce methods for translating sonic textures into language, encourage experimentation with prosody and repetition, and offer strategies for developing original pieces rooted in musical awareness.

FIFDH: The Authoritarian Turn in the United States

A screening of the documentary The Librarians, which exposes the large-scale removal of books and the culture war unfolding in the United States, followed by a hard-hitting debate on America’s authoritarian drift. From the erosion of civil liberties to the undermining of democratic institutions and the global export of these practices, experts and activists examine how recent U.S. policies are reshaping power at home and beyond.

Noetic, an association specialising in video game education and awareness, works on digital literacy and youth wellbeing related to gaming.

This interactive afternoon explores collaborative play, presents key digital issues such as cyberbullying, online anonymity and microtransactions, and examines how gaming shapes young people’s socialisation and learning. Participants engage in discovery-based sessions and guided discussions that investigate ethical, social and educational implications of play.

Evelyne Brügger, a certified art therapist, leads the workshops with support from Joëlle Mauris, a professional cellist whose music accompanies one session per cycle.

The sessions explore creative practices to support women living with endometriosis, PMS or menstrual pain, addressing emotional expression, body awareness and coping strategies. Participants investigate materials and processes to rediscover inner resources, share experiences, and develop ways to express and regulate sensations through art and sound.

Mindful Meditation Inspired by Art

Erwan Tréguer, Mindfulness instructor, and Murielle Brunschwig, cultural mediator, bring complementary expertise in contemplative practice and art mediation to guide reflective sessions centered on attention and presence.

This workshop investigates how sustained attention to artworks and exhibition space cultivates bodily awareness, emotional regulation, and aesthetic perception. Through guided meditations and silent observation, participants explore techniques to deepen mindfulness, examine the links between art and wellbeing, and develop practical skills for sustaining presence in daily life.
