End’Ose Art Therapy

Evelyne Brügger, a certified art therapist, leads the workshops with support from Joëlle Mauris, a professional cellist whose music accompanies one session per cycle.

The sessions explore creative practices to support women living with endometriosis, PMS or menstrual pain, addressing emotional expression, body awareness and coping strategies. Participants investigate materials and processes to rediscover inner resources, share experiences, and develop ways to express and regulate sensations through art and sound.

A workshop of imagination, based on the fictional universe of Bâtir aussi — a collective work published by Cambourakis in 2018 — invites participants into the alternate history of the Haraka, a social movement that began with the Arab Spring in 2011 and spread to uprisings around the world.

It follows the legacy of slavery and the cultural mixtures born of colonisation, moving from lundu and batuque to early samba and choro, and through the emergence of national radio and the samba-exaltação of the 1930s–40s. Warm strings and rhythmic pulse create a vivid, listening journey that evokes social memory and layered cultural textures.

31 January – 14 February

Painter Sandra Czich leads a series of expressive art workshops, bringing hands-on experience in contemporary painting and supportive group facilitation.

Sessions explore energetic improvisation to boost creativity, nocturnal painting with phosphorescent paints to access emotion, and a Valentine-themed practice investigating love and self-expression. Participants experiment with materials, color and rhythm to develop confidence and personal artistic voice. The workshops address composition, mark-making and playful use of light to enrich creative practice.

Saturday 14 February, 14:00

Anna Tosello Liatti, workshop leader, guides participants through monotype printmaking with hands-on instruction and demonstrations. She frames the practice as a way to explore expressive mark-making and creative experimentation, accessible to beginners.

The workshop examines techniques for creating single-print monotypes, covering plate manipulation, color blending, composition, and transfer methods. Participants develop unique prints intended as personal gifts, learning how to refine imagery, experiment with textures, and adapt motifs for intimate, expressive results.

Drawing on physical and digital collections, this workshop explores practical methods for creating and editing images—photographs and illustrations. Participants learn techniques to locate and access relevant resources, manage digital assets, and apply basic editing workflows. The session examines search strategies, account navigation, and how to find online courses or register for related training, equipping attendees with concrete skills to research visual materials and integrate them into personal projects.

28 January – 23 December

This workshop explores the traditional process of assembling a herbarium specimen, inspired by Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s collections. Participants learn scientific techniques for pressing and mounting dried plants on old paper, practice botanical labelling and nomenclature, and select specimens to create a personal herbarium sheet. The session examines preservation methods, identification principles and the historical context of Rousseau’s approach, combining practical skills with scientific insight to produce a lasting botanical object.
