This exhibition celebrates the artistry of Michel Mottier, a craftsman from the Pays-d’Enhaut who carves each wooden cream spoon with patience and precision. Discover around a hundred unique handcrafted spoons, each reflecting his remarkable skill and dedication to this singular passion.

6 – 15 March

Belleville-based photographer Souleymane Fofana, known as Commeas and also a player with JA Drancy, presents a body of photographic works that approach football through instinct and immediacy. Using motion, blur and saturated colour, he captures energy rather than fixed form, privileging rhythm, perception and spontaneous gesture over technical precision.

The images emerge from intuitive, in-the-moment shooting, a visual language of movement that evokes play, chaos and collective intensity. The presentation runs alongside the film Belleville nous verra toujours danser.

7 March – 16 August

Carlos Schwabe’s retrospective traces the symbolism and pictorial imagination that defined his practice. Trained in Geneva, Schwabe is celebrated for evocative book illustrations and ambitious pictorial compositions that blend allegory, myth and musical ideas. The exhibition presents paintings, illustrations and preparatory drawings drawn from public and private Swiss and French collections, exploring technique, materiality and the spiritual and literary currents that shaped his visual language around the turn of the twentieth century.

12 March – 9 May

The exhibition brings together three artists, Nnena Kalu, Linda Bell and Marie Gyger, whose practices examine repetitive gesture as a daily discipline. Gyger reflects on the value of labour, while Bell and Kalu pursue more spontaneous, obsessive procedures. Their works, ranging from repetitive drawings and object accumulation to installations and assembled images, show how accumulation sculpts pictorial forms and material narratives, inviting reflection on labour, ritual and the construction of visual meaning.

Opening during Nuit des Bains, Thursday 12 March, 18:00.

Presented as part of a nocturnal programme, this double screening gathers the recent films of Tabarak Allah Abbas and Roman Selim Khereddine. Tabarak’s shorts (Un Papillon; Mawtini) use intimate, observational frames to probe belonging and exile, blending delicate portraiture with moments of rupture. Khereddine’s works (Gotham Stakes; Time‑Eater) move between documentary and speculative registers, exploring human–animal relations and the mise en scène of the horse‑racing industry. The programme privileges tactile imagery, restrained soundscapes and empathetic attention to social worlds.

23 January – 30 April

London-based artist Konstantina Krikzoni presents a body of paintings born from an intense solitary studio practice. Her work blurs painting and sculpture: textured, tactile canvases where brushwork and sculptural modelling interweave. Silent yet confrontational female figures occupy compositions in grey and yellow, evoking funerary motifs and the logic of memory and grief. ARMATURA functions as metaphor and method — an internal armature of endurance that shapes emotion into form through material exploration and sustained process.
