Augustin Trapenard, a journalist and former presenter of Boomerang and La Grande Librairie, discusses his relationship to literature and its role as a guide. Interviewed by Manuela Salvi, Trapenard draws on decades of broadcasting and his recent books to examine how reading shapes understanding, memory and public discourse. The conversation explores literary habits, publishing culture and the social functions of books, with reflections on charity work in support of Bibliothèques sans frontières.
