2050Today is teaming up with CERN to offer a guided exploration focusing on the biodiversity of the CERN site. Attendees will have the chance to explore 600 hectares of land, featuring green spaces, woods, forests, and agricultural areas. The tour highlights 18 species of orchids and other endangered plants. Participants will also learn about CERN’s biodiversity action plan, followed by a walk to observe key points of interest.

Evaux en Fêtes offers a cultural, ecological, and sporting program for all ages in Geneva’s largest urban park. From May to October, over thirty events blend nature, culture, and sports at Parc des Evaux. Attendees can enjoy educational workshops, open-air performances, candlelit concerts, sports challenges, and activities designed for the entire family.
Join a guided walk-and-talk through the “Our Biodiversity” route, led by biodiversity experts. This event offers an opportunity to discuss Geneva’s Municipal Biodiversity Strategy and explore everyday actions to protect biodiversity both within the city and on a national level.
Geneva will host the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix, a thrilling sailing race on Lake Geneva. Top athletes will compete aboard foiling catamarans (F50s), reaching speeds over 100 km/h. The event will spotlight the Switzerland SailGP Team and its Geneva-born pilot, Sébastien Schneiter. Adding a vibrant and unique festive atmosphere to this spectacular competition is premium partner La Folie Douce.
The Geneva Street Jam© is Geneva’s first festival combining sport, urban art, and music with a humanitarian mission. Organized in support of Share the Meal, the event features 3×3 basketball, padel, fitness sessions, an afrobeat dance class, an art & wine workshop, a 5K solidarity run, and performances by local DJs.
Proceeds will help provide hot meals, food baskets, and nutritional support to families in Palestine, Congo, and Sudan. The fundraising goal is CHF 2,500 — enough to feed 3,000 people.
The Theatrical Walks offer an immersive exploration of Geneva, blending history and theater within natural settings. Expect surprises and emotions with quirky stories and outdoor theater scenes, designed for both locals and visitors alike.

Every Sunday, meet at 9:45 AM at the end of bus line 8 in Veyrier-Douane for 5 to 8-hour hikes organized by the Association Genevoise des Amis du Salève (AGAS). No prior registration needed. Ensure you are in good physical condition, wear walking shoes, and bring equipment suitable for weather conditions.
