La Bâtie Festival: SIX/SIX⎥Archéologie d’une danse fantôme Pièce de chambre

Sophia Rodriguez & Emma Perez / Lola Giouse & Ali Lamaadli

SIX/SIX revives La Bâtie’s daring format in which six emerging performers—two from dance, four from theatre—each craft a solo with a chosen choreographer or director, renewing stage writing by putting the interpreter centre stage: in “Archaeology of a Phantom Dance,” Emma Perez, guided by Sophia Rodriguez, excavates the inherited gestures and erased presences embedded in her body, while in “Pièce de chambre,” Ali Lamaadli, accompanied by Lola Giouse, turns a playful memory game into an intimate exploration of personal and collective recollection.
