The Xippas gallery in Geneva is showcasing “Sweet Dreams,” an exhibition dedicated to Yves Zurstrassen, a renowned self-taught Belgian artist celebrated for his vibrant works since the 1980s. His paintings blend lyrical gestures with architectural precision through a complex interplay of collages, additions, and erasures. The new series, inspired by the light of the Luberon region, features warm, vivid colors, embodying a space of freedom, joy, and poetic resistance.
“AI, Imagination, and Innovation” is an outdoor exhibition presented by Mich’Line, a project from the City of Thônex Art Fund along the Voie Verte. Swiss artists Maëlle Gross and Elsa Wagnières delve into AI’s potential and limitations through works that blur the lines between reality and fiction. Comics and taxidermied animals take center stage in the “Dialogues Insolites” exhibition at the Multi, located on the ground floor of the Cité Library, from October 12 to June 21, 2025. Students from the School of Comics and Illustration have created 15 comic stories featuring animals, while the Natural History Museum has lent local and regional specimens, including the dodo from Mauritius.
