The Pavillon Sicli is a cultural space housed within a 1960’s architectural gem in the historic Sicli industrial complex. Renovated to meet contemporary needs while preserving its industrial heritage, the pavilion serves as a versatile venue for a wide array of cultural events. From conferences to dance performances and exhibitions, the programming revolves around themes deeply rooted in architecture and urbanism.
The Fondation Pavillon Sicli hosts the exhibition “Devenir Jardinier planétaire. La Préséance du vivant” which delves into our relationship with living organisms in the face of climate and ecological challenges. Designed by Gilles Clément and Coloco in collaboration with various Geneva institutions, the exhibition explores the diverse ways we interact with life and interconnected ecosystems. It includes conferences, debates, and participatory workshops to engage both the public and professionals. Special programs are available to help schools and families navigate these critical issues.
The exhibition “Becoming a Planetary Gardener. The Preeminence of the Living” at the Pavillon Sicli Foundation, created by Gilles Clément and Atelier Coloco, invites us to rethink our relationship with the living world in response to climate and ecological challenges.
Delphine Reist, a Geneva-based artist, breathes life into industrial objects and machines, transforming them into autonomous, animated works of art. Her creations, like steamrollers repurposed as monotype presses or oil barrels that imprint patterns on walls, come alive to engage with both spectators and the surrounding space. Reist exhibits frequently in Switzerland and internationally, with notable solo shows at Frac Grand Large in Dunkerque, Centre d’art Pasquart, and the Tinguely Museum. Represented by the Lange + Pult gallery, she also teaches at the Geneva University of Art and Design.

Botanist Véronique Mûre and artist Thierry Boutonnier will delve into the intersections of art, science, and ecology in the conference “Creating Together with and for the Living.” They will challenge our relationship with the living world and suggest collaborative ways to coexist more harmoniously. The Pavillon Sicli Foundation in Geneva will also host the exhibition “Becoming a Planetary Gardener: The Primacy of the Living,” conceived by Gilles Clément and the Coloco studio, which invites us to reconsider our relationship with life in the face of climate and ecological challenges.
