Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.
Projet Wipeout presents an evening-length musical experience that blends live improvisation with curated tasting moments. Musicians respond in the moment to textures, timbres and gustatory cues, creating a dialogue between sound and flavour. The work moves between intimate whispers and expansive waves of sound, framed by attentive sonic detail and an experimental approach to communal listening.
