Tristan & Iseut – Le chant des amours impossibles offers an outdoor theatrical and musical retelling of the medieval Tristan and Iseut legend, balancing emotion and humour. Performed in the spirit of traditional street theatre, the ensemble combines live music, physical staging and playful scenography to evoke timeless passions and impossible loves. Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.
Clem Wanderer offers an intimate, sunlit set blending guitar, piano and voice, moving between pop’s immediacy and folk’s gentle storytelling. Since 2012, singer Rosemary Standley and cellist Dom La Nena have collaborated in Birds on a Wire, reimagining songs from rock, Baroque and Brazilian repertoires. Staged by Étienne Saglio, the duo weaves delicate vocal lines and cello textures into spare, folk-baroque arrangements that highlight emotional fragility and elegiac intimacy.
