The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.
Climb aboard a vintage tram and ride through the city in a 1920s convoy. Hear wooden wheels click, bell chimes ring, and feel the gentle sway as the streets roll past. Children can spot bright colors, old signs, and unexpected details while imagining stories from long ago. Explore the playful world of Édouard Manceau through lively storytime and a hands-on craft session. Children will listen to colourful picture books, enjoy animated readings led by librarians, and build a painted cardboard puppet to take home. The workshop encourages imagination, fine motor skills and creative play with bright shapes and textures. Sessions combine listening, drawing and simple cutting and assembly in a calm, friendly setting.
