MOLA is a tender and deeply moving documentary portraying Kunsang Wangmo, a Tibetan Buddhist nun exiled since 1959, as she approaches her 100th birthday and holds onto the wish to return to her homeland before she dies. Blending quiet wisdom, childlike playfulness and everyday spirituality, the film captures the beauty and fragility of a life nearing its end, and is followed by a discussion in collaboration with the Swiss–Tibetan Friendship Society.
The film is in Tibetan, with French subtitles.
