Mélisa Godet’s film immerses us in a Women’s House where care and solidarity are daily practices. Through the lives of Diane, Manon, Inès and Awa, an ensemble of women support one another’s fragile journeys toward rebuilding. Godet adopts an intimate, observational approach, favouring close frames and quiet rhythms that foreground emotion and bodily presence. Themes of collective resilience, listening and gendered care unfold in warm, textured imagery, offering a tender, unsentimental portrait of communal repair.
Followed by a discussion with Anne-Céline Machet, director of La Collective (the future Women’s and Gender Minorities House in Geneva).
