Choreographed by Saša Asentić, Le Sacre du printemps is a reimagined Stravinsky landmark performed by the inclusive company Per.Art. Drawing on historical versions by the Ballets Russes, Maurice Béjart and Pina Bausch and enriched with the voices of disabled poets from Serbia, Iran, Ukraine and the United States, the seven dancers invert the original narrative. The staging transforms ritual into a manifesto of survival, blending physical rigor, collective solidarity and poetic testimony to renew the score as a cry for life.
Led by singer-composer Arash Barez, the Aseman Ensemble blends Afghan and Japanese voices to reimagine tradition through contemporary sound. The group features rubab master Kengo Saito, Mojtaba Habibi (co‑founder of Kabul Dreams), violinist Alia Païenda, guitarist Abi Rezai and guest vocalist Dawood Pazhman. Their music intertwines Persian poetry, modal textures and modern arrangements, creating intimate, luminous moments that shift into collective catharsis. Presented as part of the Blooming Afghanistan programme, the concert privileges cultural resilience and shared memory.
Choreographer and performer Marco D’Agostin fuses scientific lecture, musical comedy and intimate confession in Astéroïde. Posing as a paleontologist, he handles ancient bones while tracing the extinction of dinosaurs, but the scholarly frame cracks as memory, desire and song spill out. A solo that shifts between popular science, theatre and Broadway‑style numbers, it explores loss and survival with wit, physical precision and theatrical exuberance. Shyle Zalewski invites audiences into a two-part evening combining zine culture and an intimate concert. The first part presents a meeting and signing of self-published fanzines, foregrounding handwritten narratives and the DIY community around the artist. Later, under the alter ego edam edam, Zalewski offers a live set that blends fragile melodies and lo-fi textures, shifting the room from quiet reflection to charged immediacy. The night foregrounds intimacy, creative exchange, and the blurred line between reading and song.
