Created and performed by Elina Kulikova and Dima Efremov, TRILOGIE DE LA GUERRE interweaves three musical-performance pieces responding to exile, the war in Ukraine and repression in Russia. Kulikova’s chapters evoke classical and folk song, transforming lament into a ritualised, sensory mourning; Efremov’s contribution uses sound art and electro textures to shift perspective and map clandestine networks of resistance. Together the trilogy forms a compact dramaturgy of intimacy, unease and fragile hope, immersive and politically charged.
BBBBBBB, the Japanese duo of Saionji (voice and sound production) and Sawa (voice), unleashes a sonic upheaval where digital hardcore collides with noise, industrial textures, trap and other unruly sounds. US guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle brings an intense, abrasive electric-guitar solo, carving a raw and uncompromising path through distortion and physical energy. Bamba Triste and Fuxy Lady round out the evening with a record-spinning set specially conceived for this occasion, extending the night’s adventurous, unruly soundscape.
Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin.
