On his project RESTART he stakes a claim to mastery while exploring identity, aspiration and the grind of urban life. Presented by Electron Festival, Detroit Legends gathers pioneers Cybotron and Dopplereffekt for a dialogue between two foundational visions of techno. Their repertoire blends reggae, funk, pop, rock and chanson française, moving from Bob Marley and Marvin Gaye to AC/DC, The Beatles and MC Solaar. The performance alternates driving grooves and soulful breaks, inviting spontaneous interplay and a communal blues jam afterward. The evening emphasizes raw musicianship and the joy of live exchange.

Two bands take the stage: The Band, channeling raw 1960s–70s rock, and Latin Lovers, offering swing and Latin-infused repertoire. The programme alternates driving electric grooves and warm, danceable rhythms, with musicians trading solos and close harmonies. The sound design favors immediacy and intimacy, letting textures and dynamics shape the evening. It creates a convivial, nocturnal atmosphere where nostalgia meets rhythmic exuberance and live interplay becomes the event’s emotional core.

17 September – 18 December

Created by Manon Bril and Etienne Lautrette and directed by Théo Comby Lemaitre, this hybrid lecture-performance blends scholarly rigour with theatrical wit. Historian Manon Bril guides the audience through surprising episodes of human history, overturning assumptions with a sharp, offbeat humour and playful staging. The show mixes clear popular-science explanation, theatrical images and comic timing to reveal that nothing has “always been like this”.

A darkly comic solo play about obsession and domestic chaos. When Michel finds a rare record he has long sought, he prepares a perfect hour to listen — but family, neighbours and a drip that will wreck the disc steadily intrude. The piece skewers selfishness with sharp humour and precise staging, combining intimate realism and heightened farce to probe human smallness and the desperate desire for solitude.

Amor follows a forty‑something couple, attached yet weary from routine, confronting unspoken truths and the pull toward emancipation. This intimate, humanist theatre piece probes love’s contradictions—between inherited models and contemporary norms—through subtle staging and concentrated performances. Marjolaine Minot and Guillaume Prin embody the emotional shifts with delicate nuance, drawing the audience into a relational interior where choices, desire and restraint collide.
