Led by conductor Matthieu Schweyer, Orchestre Concertus presents Mozart’s Requiem with soloists Alida Barbasini (soprano), Mi‑Young Kim (mezzo‑soprano), Daniel Duri (tenor) and Seong‑Ho Han (bass). The performance balances intimate choral passages and thunderous orchestral climaxes, exploring grief, transcendence and ritual. Sparse orchestration and dramatic vocal lines are shaped with attention to dynamic contrast and vocal colour, creating a moving, cinematic soundworld that alternates between hushed prayer and overwhelming intensity.
