After Amadou’s death, Mariam’s voice has acquired a new depth. Born in Bamako, she met Amadou at the Institut des jeunes aveugles, and together they formed a long-standing artistic duo that produced songs now part of the collective memory, from «Je pense à toi» to «Beaux Dimanches». On stage with her musicians, Mariam keeps their heritage alive while presenting material from her recent album L’Amour à la folie, creating a luminous and sensitive celebration.

Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Marlène Charpentié conjures a strange papier-mâché garden in this hybrid performance that mixes theatre, clown and dance. Three figures — an obsessed drag-king, a heartbroken diva vampire and a queer Pierrot who tends fading, reviving flowers — share the stage without words. Between absurd humour and a critique of capitalism, the piece plays out like a cracked cabaret where material is worked live: objects are handled, transformed and revealed in a visceral, intimate exchange with the audience.
