Associations Encontro and Kinch present a two-part evening of jazz and Brazilian music led by rising star Frederico Heliodoro and composer-arranger Louis Matute. Heliodoro opens with intimate quartet pieces that blend rhythmic warmth and modern improvisation. Later, Matute’s Large Ensemble performs Dolce Vita with legendary singer Joyce Moreno, weaving generational dialogues between classic samba, bossa nova and contemporary jazz textures. The concert celebrates Brazil’s musical heritage and inventive spirit across multiple generations.
