Le Voyage à Reims

Booking Required

Directed by Laurent Pelly and conducted by Jader Bignamini, Rossini’s Le Voyage à Reims is a lavish, meta-lyric comedy that reunites an array of virtuoso soloists. This new production plays on ceremonial pageantry and intimate comic intrigues, blending sparkling ensembles with lyrical soliloquies. The reconstructed score offers both historical colour and theatrical wit, realised through elegant staging, precise musical leadership and a vivid ensemble that turns Rossini’s coronation music into a glittering celebration of the operatic art.
