Le Premier Sexe

A man performs on stage, sharing a personal reflection alongside his family, friends, therapist, colleagues, and ex-partners. In seven acts, he delves into pivotal anecdotes to question gender imperatives from childhood to adulthood. The play, “Le Premier Sexe,” addresses the journey from oppression to emancipation and the shift from toxic masculinity to a distinctive masculine identity. Produced by Compagnie Passages, with Mickaël Délis responsible for both writing and directing, in collaboration with Vladimir Perrin and other artists.

Back from the ashes like a mischievous phoenix, this stage adaptation of Hergé’s timeless comic hurls Bianca Castafiore’s shrill “Heavens, my jewels!” onto the boards and detonates a riotous, closed-door whodunnit inside the tranquil walls of Moulinsart: red herrings fly, misunderstandings snowball and Tintin’s entire gallery of eccentrics careen through a dazzling, hyper-faithful recreation of the album, where actors vanish into near-unrecognisable guises and the set itself crackles with playful theatrical sleight-of-hand—proof that some productions really do possess a magic, living soul of their own.

The Christmas Circus at Plainpalais captivates Geneva families with a show that seamlessly integrates tradition and innovation. With artistic support from Annik Von Kaenel and lighting by Fred Jarabo, Chenu delivers a tender and poetic tribute to these timeless artists.

The 133rd edition of Geneva’s iconic satirical show, La Revue Genevoise 2025, takes place at the Casino-Théâtre before its renovation.
