Le Livre sur les Quais is an annual literary festival in Morges, held each September along the lakeside and in various venues around the town. Since 2010, it has brought together around 150 authors and thousands of visitors for a programme of talks, readings, panel discussions, and book signings, as well as literary cruises on Lake Geneva. The event covers a broad range of genres and themes, with both Swiss and international participants.
CinéTransat invites you to a lively, participatory evening with its open-air “choreoke” — a choreographic karaoke! Iconic film and music video clips are screened, encouraging the audience to dance along and mimic the moves together. A fun, communal experience under the stars, filled with joy, rhythm, and spontaneous energy.
In August, the museum courtyard is set to be transformed into a vibrant stage for contemporary electronic music, thanks to DJ sets organized in collaboration with the Headfun association.
Lancy fait son cinéma brings the magic of open-air cinema to neighborhoods across the city, with free evening screenings that blend adventure, comedy, and animated films. This summer, the MEG invites you to unwind under the museum’s canopy, where deckchairs await, infused with music. Embrace a peaceful moment to listen to tunes, read a book, or just relax. The permanent exhibit and the Rencontres exhibition also provide cool spaces for a musical interlude and touching stories surrounding meaningful objects.
Starting July 3, every Thursday at 7 p.m., enjoy free stand-up comedy by the lake with a spritz in hand and the sun setting behind you. Le Caustic Comedy Club and La Canopée bring together 30 top comedians from across Switzerland, with a few special guests from Paris, rotating each week to kick off your summer evenings with laughter.
