Directed and performed by Mickaël Délis with co-direction by Papy, La fête du slip narrows the lens on masculinity through a candid, intimate theatrical voice. Délis writes and inhabits the piece, calling on close relations to unsettle the cult of performance and to examine the strengths of vulnerability. The writing balances humour, tenderness and irony to create a stage experience that is at once raw and subtly moving.
