Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.

Since 2012, singer Rosemary Standley and cellist Dom La Nena have collaborated in Birds on a Wire, reimagining songs from rock, Baroque and Brazilian repertoires. Staged by Étienne Saglio, the duo weaves delicate vocal lines and cello textures into spare, folk-baroque arrangements that highlight emotional fragility and elegiac intimacy.
