Holidays at the Grand Theatre

Explore the Grand Théâtre with your family during the autumn holidays. The Grand Théâtre Jeunesse offers family-friendly tours, inviting you to discover hidden gems like the coffered ceiling, multicolored marbles, starry sky, and gilded foyers. Children can also admire the costumes and uncover the secrets of the Place de Neuve before it closes for renovations at the end of December 2025. The tour lasts one hour.

Evaux en Fêtes offers a cultural, ecological, and sporting program for all ages in Geneva’s largest urban park. From May to October, over thirty events blend nature, culture, and sports at Parc des Evaux. 16 September – 14 December

The ASL is marking its 45th anniversary with the immersive exhibition “Léman, l’éveil d’un peuple” (Léman, the Awakening of a People). This exhibition chronicles the fierce battle to rescue Lake Geneva from suffocation between the 1960s and 2000, driven by the collective efforts of associations, scientists, fishermen, journalists, and institutions. It offers a journey filled with documents and personal accounts, reminding visitors of the power of individual action in protecting the lake. The event features a variety of activities suitable for all ages, including fun missions for children, conferences, and guided tours. It also highlights the lake’s current challenges and encourages active engagement in its preservation.

22 October & 26 November

As part of the exhibition Carouge s’aventure dans le cinéma, the Musée de Carouge invites children to a workshop to create their own phenakistiscope. Led by artist Myriam Abourousse, participants will design an animated disc that brings their drawings to life, offering a fun and hands-on introduction to the techniques of early animation.

Ages 7 to 12.
