A disciple of Neem Karoli Baba, Krishna Das has brought kirtan and bhakti yoga to a global audience. His latest album, “Home in the Heart,” released in 2025, delves into themes of devotion and mysticism. This tour promises an evening filled with mantras and devotional chants, providing a profound opportunity for inner connection.

19 – 29 March

Leonardo García Alarcón and his Cappella Mediterranea, in collaboration with the GTG Ballet, present the opera-dance Castor & Pollux by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Rarely performed in its 1737 version, the work delves into themes of brotherly love and sacrifice amidst a war between two peoples. The show features renowned baroque artists, including performances by Reinoud van Mechelen and Andreas Wolf. Dance is woven into the core of the dramaturgy, highlighting the emotional and musical depth of Rameau’s composition.

Directed by Marie Wyler and adapted from Violaine Bérot’s novel, Comme des bêtes follows a man nicknamed “the Bear” whose difference unsettles a mountain village after a child is sighted near his cave. Performed by Marie Probst, Marie Ruchat, Alexandra Tiedemann and David Casada, the piece mixes elements of folk tale and detective narrative to probe mutual taming between humans and other forms of life. Giulia Muniz’s costumes, David Kretonic’s lighting and Rudy Deceliere’s sound design build a tense, mysterious atmosphere that questions the limits of rationality.

Portrait is a creation by Alexandre Simon and Cosima Weiter that delves into the city through the lens of its diverse inhabitants. Combining text, acting, film sequences, and music, “Portrait” unveils a multicultural and unique Geneva. Pierre Maillet brings to life the testimonies collected by Cosima Weiter, supported by a trio of musicians under the direction of Vincent Bertholet. Filmed sequences by Alexandre Simon add depth to the staging, providing an artistic and anthropological view of the city.
